 In Bhagavad Gita Adhyay 1, Shloka 19, Duryodhana, after seeking guidance from his teacher Dronacharya, begins to survey the Pandava army. He says:

दृष्ट्वा तु पाण्डवैः चिकीर्षमाणः समवेतानि कौन्तेय वीर्यवान्। अस्माकं तु विशिष्टाः ये तान्निबोध द्विजोत्तम।।1.19ll

Transliteration: dṛṣṭvā tu pāṇḍavaiḥ cikīrṣamāṇaḥ samavetāni kaunteya vīryavān asmākaṁ tu viśiṣṭāḥ ye tān nibodha dvijottama

Simple meaning: Beholding the Pandava army, Duryodhana approached his teacher, and said these words: “O best of the twice-born, please observe carefully those who are distinguished among us in military skill."

In this shloka, Duryodhana surveys the Pandava army and approaches his teacher, Dronacharya, to ask him to identify the Pandava warriors who are the most skilled and powerful. This shows Duryodhana's tactical approach to the upcoming battle, as he wants to identify and prioritize the most skilled and dangerous opponents in order to formulate a strategy. The shloka also highlights the importance of seeking advice from a teacher or mentor in times of confusion or uncertainty.
